We promote the voluntary conservation of farmland, cultural sites and natural landscapes, for all to enjoy.
The Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy is a private, not-for-profit organization working to
save special places in Albany, Schenectady and Montgomery counties. We have protected more than 2700
acres of land in the region, including over 1170 acres open to the public for hiking.
Two of our committees, Friends of the Rail Trail (see link at bottom of the page) and Mohawk River
Community Partners (MRCP) have been organized to help promote our work on specific projects or
target areas. MRCP
