Founded by area residents in 1992, the Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy saves special places by promoting the voluntary conservation of farmland, cultural and natural landscapes in cooperation with landowners, local governments and other partners for the use and enjoyment of current and future generations.
ALERT: The Normans Kill West Preserve at the end of Normanskill Blvd. in Delmar has been temporarily closed for trail improvements. Please watch this space for news of the reopening.

MHLC held its Annual Awards Dinner on May 12, 2009. Rodger Fink, former MHLC Board member, received the Open Space Preservation Leadership award and Francis Sheehan, Asst. Director DEC Division of Land & Forests, received the Saving Special Places award.
