On November 1, MHLC staff hosted  a Volunteer Appreciation Party at Lawson Lake County Park. The annual event is a chance for staff to thank volunteers for all their hard work throughout the year. The festivities included food and drinks, lawn games, and a firepit - the afternoon was filled with good conversation and lots of laughs.

Our amazing team of volunteers makes a significant contribution to the organization, from trail maintenance to community outreach at events to assisting at the office. This year, they have collectively logged over 600 hours of volunteering. Additionally, our Board and Advisory Council contribute numerous volunteer hours each year, dedicating their free time to support MHLC's mission. Thank you, volunteers, for all you do!
