MHLC's Campaign to Protect the 225-Acre Bond Road Property
Watch our campaign video
Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy has launched a campaign to purchase and protect 225 acres of exceptional property within the Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor in Guilderland, NY.
With the success of this campaign, MHLC will ensure that the lands and waters of the Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor and its tributaries will be further protected - providing clean water, recreation, and critical habitat to support the many birds, plants, and animals that call this beautiful region home.
Through a partnership with neighboring landowners who purchased the property in October 2022, Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy has the opportunity to buy this spectacular property from the new owners and protect it forever. MHLC is moving forward with the purchase, but we need your help! We have until December 31, 2023 to raise the funds needed to purchase the property and expand the Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor.
The Bond Road property is comprised of 2 parcels with a combined total of 225 acres. This unique property has significant frontage on the Bozen Kill.
MHLC’s Bozen Kill Preserve is 214 acres. This preserve is a part of the larger Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor.
Currently the Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor is 467 acres. Adding the Bond Road lands expands the corridor to nearly 700 total acres.
To help us reach the finish line, we have been issued a matching challenge by Marilyn & Norm Fancher and two anonymous donors.
Every donation toward the Bozen Kill Campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $15,000, now through December 31, 2023.
Help MHLC protect the Bond Road property and expand this important conservation corridor. Donate now using the form below, or contact MHLC at (518) 436-6346 to pledge your support for this critical project.
