MHLC's Campaign to Protect the 225-Acre Bond Road Property

Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy has launched a campaign to purchase and protect 225 acres of land within the Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor in Guilderland, NY.

Thanks to an outpouring of support, we are ready to complete the purchase of the 225-acre Bond Road property! This acquisition will expand the Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor to nearly 700 acres. Stay tuned for an exciting announcement in February 2024.

Beyond purchasing the property, MHLC is excited at the prospect of building new trails and outdoor opportunities to benefit the communities we serve and their health. Before we can open the Bond Road property to the public, we must raise the funds needed to prepare and maintain the land as a public nature preserve. Our fundraising campaign will remain active until we reach our final goal of $550,000.

Through a partnership with neighboring landowners who purchased the property in October 2022, Mohawk Hudson Land Conservancy has the opportunity to buy this spectacular property from the new owners and protect it forever.

The Bond Road property is comprised of 2 parcels with a combined total of 225 acres. This unique property has significant frontage on the Bozen Kill.

Bozen Kill Preserve

MHLC’s Bozen Kill Preserve is 214 acres. This preserve is a part of the larger Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor.

Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor

Currently the Bozen Kill Conservation Corridor is 467 acres. Adding the Bond Road lands expands the corridor to nearly 700 total acres.
