This on-your-own activity will be available at all 23 MHLC Preserves through August 5.
Registered participants who submit a selfie with the BUG they find by the August 5 deadline will receive a Stewart's Shops ice cream card and entry into a prize drawing for a chance to win a gift card from Tacos Diablo.
(You only need to find one BUG to earn an ice cream card and enter the main prize raffle.)
We love group photos! Each registered participants in a group photo will receive an ice cream card and each person will also be entered into the prize raffle.
When sending photos to connect@mohawkhudson.org, please include your full name so we can match it to your registration.

10+ Challenge: Find 10 or more bugs to be entered in a raffle to win an MHLC sweatshirt and your photo published in the fall issue of MHLC's Viewpoints newsletter.
Pet Challenge: Include your leashed pet in your selfie to be entered in a raffle to win a whimsical hand painted pet portrait.
Solve the Riddle Challenge: Solve the riddle below to discover which preserve holds two hidden bugs. Send the preserve name and photos of both items to be entered into a raffle to win a $50 giftcard to WildPlay Thacher!
Just south of the Mohawk, off Vly Creek, this little preserve is the one you seek.
For 26 years as one of MHLC's, a neighborhood gem full of plants and tall trees;
There's only one trail, so hardly a clue, but two yellow beetles are waiting on blue.
Where the tree root steps over you'll see, an unlikely beetle-yeah, that's me!
Want one more, it's no trouble, head to the creek to see double.
