CANCELED
MHLC is teaming up with Capital Region PRISM once again for a Chops & Hops event for New York Invasive Species Awareness Week. This year's event is taking place at our yet-to-be opened new preserve in Alplaus! We'll be removing invasive plants to improve the trail system and overall health of the landscape. Volunteers will complete basic pruning, trimming and cutting of branches and vines using hand tools. Stick around afterwards for some complimentary cold beverages! (20 volunteer max)

The bog boards at Van Dyke need some improvements, so we'll be spending the day replacing boards and footers as needed to keep the trail elevated through low wet areas. Work will involve carrying in lumber, removing old boards and installing new ones using both hand tools and power tools. (8 Volunteers needed)
